BioLinks Instructions

Step 1:

Collect the following Information From The Client

  • Full Name

  • Role

  • Company

  • Website Link

  • Quote

  • Phone Number

  • Email

  • Avatar

  • Name and Values for 4 buttons (example: Google Review, Yelp, Email, URL)

Step 2:

Activate the Generator buttons

  • Click on both buttons.

  • Leave the pages open, we will be entering information on these forms

Step 3:

Create the vCard

  • Complete the form

    • First Name

    • Last name

    • Organization or Business Name

    • Job Title

    • Email

    • Phone Number

    • Website

    • Landing Page or Alternate URL

    • Biolink URL: https://biolinks.mediavines.com/carlositurralde (replace the red text with the client fullname)

    • Photo URL

      • Log onto GHL

      • Choose Subaccount - Media Vines

      • From the Dashboard, select MEDIA STORAGE

      • Double click on BioLinks

      • Choose AVATAR

      • Upload the client image

      • Once the client image has been uploaded,

        • place your cursor over the image

        • 3 dots should show up

        • Click on the 3 dots

        • Click on GET LINK (this will copy the image url)

      • Go back to the vCard Generator webpage and paste the link into the PHOTO URL input form

    • Click on the blue button GENERATE VCARD TEXT

    • Click on the green button COPY TO CLIPBOARD

    • GITHUB

      • log onto MediaVines github

      • Choose BioLinks

      • Click Create New File

      • Name the file BioLinks/terencehahn.vcf (replace the text in red with the client name)

      • Paste the copied code from the vCard Generator

      • Commit the Change

      • The link for the vcf is https://biolink.mediavines.com/terencehahn.vcf (replace the red word with the actual github file that you created above

Step 4:

BioLink Generator Form

  • Complete the form

    • Enter Name (First Name Last Name) - example: Terence Hahn

    • Enter the Role - should be the same as the one on vCard

    • Enter Company Name

    • Enter website URL

    • Enter Quote

    • Enter Phone Number (5625124944) - leave off the +1

    • Enter Email (leave blank if not there)

    • Enter vCard Link: Example: https://biolink.mediavines.com/terencehahn.vcf (replace the red word with the actual github file that you created above

    • Enter the image for the Avatar (this is the same as the one on the vCard)

    • Enter the background image url

      • go to GHL/Media Storage/

      • Double click on BioLinks

      • Choose FRAMES (background for the BioLinks)

      • Select the frame that you want

      • Click on the 3 dots on the top-right

      • Click on GET LINKS

      • Paste into the form

    • QR Code Image URL

      • Go to https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/

      • Paste the biolink webpage link - Example: https://biolinks.mediavines.com/terencehahn

      • Click the Create QR Code button

      • Once created, click on the Download PNG button

      • Rename the downloaded file - Terence Hahn QR code - Rainbow Restoration of Seal Beach (replace the word in red with the client name and business name)

      • Upload the file to GHL/Media Storage/BioLinks/qrcodes

        • choose the file , 3 dots on the right hand side, GET LINKS

      • Paste the url to the form

    • BUTTONS

      • Ignore Button 1 Name

      • Button 2 Name - give in the name

      • Button 2 Link or value - enter the data

      • Do this for all 5 buttons

    • Design Colors

      • Click on the lines to change each of the following color:

        • Name Color

        • Role Text Color

        • Quote Text Color

        • Button Background Color (start) and (end)

        • Button Border Color

        • Avatar Border Color

    • Click on the Copy Code to Clipboard button

Step 5:

Create the webpage

  • Log onto GHL

  • Choose Subaccount - Media Vines

  • From the Dashboard, select SITES

  • Choose BioLinks Landing Page

  • Scroll down and choose BioLink Template

    • Click on the 3 dots on the top right-hand side

    • Click on CLONE

    • Click on Clone Page in this Website

  • Find the BioLink Template (Clone)

    • Click on the 3 dots on the top right-hand side

    • Click on Settings

    • Rename the Name with the client full name

    • Change the Path: /fullname (example: client name is Terence Hahn....the path is /terencehahn)

  • Edit the webpage

    • Click on the blue EDIT button downward arrow

    • Choose EDIT IN A NEW TAB

  • Inside

    • Click on <>Custom HTML/Javascript

    • Click on Open Code Editor button on the right

    • Paste the code copied from the generator above

    • Click on blue Save Button

    • Click on white SAVE button on top

    • Update the SEO META DATA

      • Content - update Name

      • Description - update Name

      • Links & Tags

      • Click on the blue Update SEO Meta

    • Click on the white SAVE button

    • Click on the blue PUBLISH button
